GET
Get read collection status
Read this account’s retained job status for 1 credit, without another source request. Jobs transition from queued to running, then succeeded or failed. result_count counts retained observations only. A failed job exposes a typed source outcome and refunds its source reservation; failed work is never automatically retried. Use the job ID returned by createReadJob. Poll sparingly and use a new idempotency key for each fresh status read: replaying a status key is free but returns its original snapshot. A repeated creation also returns its original queued snapshot. Unrelated-account, different-environment or expired jobs return 404 with zero charge. Job retention is 24 hours from creation. An API key authorized for status reads can read its account’s jobs; dispatch still requires the original creating key to remain active with its underlying search scope. No arbitrary provider run ID lookup.
Fresh job status/result reads expire after 24 hours. The existing API idempotency-response cache lasts seven days and can replay an earlier response after that window. A replay preserves its original snapshot; it does not refresh status or execute a source again.
